On Wednesdays, we "round up" some fun things to share with you. Today, we're rounding up some of our favorite Instagram accounts from Michigan's Great Southwest!
St. Joe Today : @stjoetoday
Instagram has been taking off all over the world, and Michigan's Great Soutwest is no exception! We've rounded up a few of our favorite accounts for you to follow, and see what's happening through local eyes.
Click the Instagram to find their full feed; you can find them by their handle, too!
Bound For Freedom: @boundforfreedom
Founded in 2013 by Austin and Kelsey Bock, this store and café at 404 State St. opened in April 2014. Selling fair trade products and social justice merchandise, the business and movement is picking up steam in Southwest Michigan.
Joshua Nowicki: @joshua.nowicki
Joshua Nowicki has made a name for himself with amazing lighthouse photos and shots of the Chicago skyline across Lake Michigan. He’s also been Instagramming from The Livery and The Bistro on the Boulevard for culinary updates, too.
Lana's Boutique: @lanas_boutique
Lana’s Boutique at 400 State St. in downtown St. Joseph has been selling women’s apparel and accessories since 2008 (Kalamazoo since 2004). The store is filled with awesome merchandise, and we love how their Instagram helps us put it together.
Mason Jar Cafe : @mason_jar_cafe
The Mason Jar Café is a funky spot in the Benton Harbor Arts District serving up delicious house-made breakfast and lunch options. They offer vegan, gluten-free and vegetarian options and drinks in mason jars, of course.
Sarett Nature Center : @sarettnaturecenter
The Sarett Nature Center in the Paw Paw River Valley offers trails, educational programming, and houses a wide variety of creatures, flora and fauna. We follow them on Instagram for an awesome look at the changing seasons…and the animal pictures, too!
