The SMSO kicks-off their Summer Series with the Independence Day Celebration on Friday July 3rd at 8:30pm. The program, which is directed and lead by SMSO Conductor Finalist, Grant Harville, will include traditional patriotic favorites such as Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture,” with its thunderous strains as the St. Joseph Fireworks light up the sky overhead. The VanDyke Revue will offer pre-concert entertainment at 6pm. Food, non-alcoholic beverages, beer and wine will be available to purchase.
