1.) Holiday “Mac Pac” from Bistro on the Boulevard
Just in time for Christmas, Pastry Chef Mandy Krause (better known as the Macaron Lady) has crafted new flavors perfect for holiday celebrations. The classic French dessert is holiday-ready with white chocolate cranberry, chocolate chestnut, white chocolate peppermint, Christmas spice, vanilla bean and salted caramel. The “Mac Pacs” are available through the Bistro on the Boulevard, located at 521 Lake Boulevard. 2.) Christmas Crunch from South Bend Chocolate Café
It’s an unforgettable blend of caramel corn, chocolate, almonds, cherry, and cinnamon that brings a sweet and crunchy twist to your holiday! It’s definitely a step up from your classic caramel corn. The delicious treat is available in gift bags perfect for passing at the store, located at 300 State Street.
3.) Stollen from Bit of Swiss Bakery
A German Christmas tradition, you can find classic stollen at Bit of Swiss Bakery at 4333 Ridge Road in Stevensville! It begins with fruits soaked in rum and spices, and almonds mixed in the dough, with marzipan layered between. After the oven, it’s brushed with butter and rolled in sugar. 4.) Peppermint Ice Cream from Kilwin’s
Each year, we wait for the pink-hued frozen treat’s arrival with a sign in the window. Each year, it doesn’t disappoint! The famous Kilwin’s ice cream is mixes the smooth, sweet taste with crunchy, chewy candy pieces for a Christmas treat best enjoyed indoors. Visit Kilwin’s at 217 State Street in downtown St. Joseph!
5.) Peppermint Stick Mocha Latte from Biggby
Especially with this year’s frigid temperatures, we need warm treats this time of year too! The mint-y, chocolate-y treat comes with an espresso kick, and is easy to take on the go.
