Christian Cook, co-owner and head brewer of the downtown St. Joseph brewpub, shared their best seasonal beverage. Enjoy it there, or take it with you in their "crowlers".

"Batch 200 is a Rye Whiskey Barrel Aged Smoked Imperial Porter in honor of being our 200th brewed beer at Silver Harbor. Aged in Old Watermill rye whiskey barrels for three months, which happens to be a pre-prohibition spirit, this beer has strong rye booziness, balanced with notes of chocolate and cherry wood smoke. Stop on in and warm yourself up during the cold winter months and enjoy a glass of Batch 200!"

Simon Rusk, owner of the Benton Harbor brewery, shared two upcoming winter favorites!

"Blacksmith (American Stout) - As Winter approaches and the days get short and cold, this bold and hearty stout fortifies your body and lifts your spirits.  Blacksmith fills and coats your mouth with intense roast and wave after wave of chocolatey goodness. At 7.5% ABV, this beer fills you with warmth and melts away the dreary grind of winter.

Magical Ice-Bock (German Eisbock) - The official beer of the St. Joseph Magical Ice Fest! We create this incredibly smooth and flavorful sipper by freezing our Liverator Doppelbock and removing the concentrated unfrozen beer, then we age and lager this concentrated beer with toasted pecans and vanilla! The
result is something truly magical; intense notes of caramel accentuated by notes of pecan and vanilla."

Jay Fettig, owner of the Benton Harbor brewery, shared two of his holiday favorites which are easily packaged in howlers and growlers for gifts too!

"Cocoa Dunkel is our latest creation and also the perfect beer to enjoy this holiday season. This dark, brow, Muich-style Dunkel has a delightful chocolate and roasted malt aroma which is accentuated by being aged on fresh cocoa nibs for Ghana. This crisp drinkable dark lager is great to pair with your holiday meals and for cozying up by the fireplace (at home or at our taproom!).

Old Shuck, our London-style Porter is another fantastic beer to enjoy during the holidays. Grab a pint and you'll immediately notice beautiful coffee aromas which are then complemented by by earthy English hops to create a balanced and drinkable roasty ale. As one of our canned beers, Old Shuck can be enjoyed at home by picking up a 4-pack to-go."

Dave Morin, co-owner of the Dowagiac brewery, shares what they're most excited about this holiday season!

"As we enter this holiday season, we are really excited about our Driftskipper Winter Warmer. Coming in at 9% ABV, this dark winter beer is brewed with a blend of eight spices (cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, ginger, coriander, and orange) and is sure to warm your soul on a cold winter day.

We will also be offering a limited run of bourbon barrel ages Driftskiper bottles, available only in the tap room starting mid-December."
