THURSDAY, MAY 2

Kick off the weekend with the annual Church Rummage Sale at St. Joseph First UMC from 10:00am-7:00pm on Thursday and 10:00am-3:00pm Friday. All proceeds will be used to benefit their Youth Mission Trip and Youth Ministries!

from 9:00am-6:00pm and Friday May 3rd from 9:00am-2:00pm! 

Enjoy Tapas & Tins on Thursdays from 4:00pm-10:00pm at Plank's Tavern through May 16. This event runs Thursdays through May 16 and features tapas from $8+ and martinis for $6+. Grab the ladies for a fun night out! 

Take a spin around the Silver Beach Carousel during their Family Fun Night: America, the Places You'll Go! From 4:00pm-8:30pm! Celebrate the Blossomtime Festival with $1 Carousel rides. 

Sister Lakes Brewing Co. hosts Team Trivia every Thursday night from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Sip on some delicious craft beer as you test your trivia skills. Always free to play, the top three teams will win a SLBC gift certificate!

FRIDAY, MAY 3

Sangria returns to Lazy Ballerina Winery this weekend during their Single & Ready to Mingle Sangria Release! It's a delicious blend of Concord, Peach and Cranberry wines, summer in a glass! Stop in May 3-5 and you can try it for FREE. Summer hours also begin May 3. Both locations, St. Joseph and Bridgman, will be open daily!

Art lovers will enjoy the Series 3 Art Exhibition Opening Reception at the Box Factory for the Arts from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Featuring artwork by Kristin Hosbein, Carol Myers and Fine Art Students of Indiana University South Bend. This exhibit will run through June 1. 

Head over to Benton Harbor to catch some live music at The Livery starting at 8:00pm! Grab some delectable food and tasty brews as you settle in for a night of bluegrass featuring Sugar & The Mint + Chain Station. Tickets $10/advance and $12/door.

SATURDAY, MAY 4

Start your Saturday off with the 40th Annual Run for the Buds 5K Run/Walk in downtown St. Joseph! Haven't registered yet? Don't worry! Day of registration will take place near the Start/Finish line located on Ship Street near the Post Office at 8:30am. 

The Blossomtime Grand Floral Parade runs from 1:00pm-4:00pm in downtown St. Joseph. This year's theme is "America, the Places You'll Go" and will feature marching bands, antique cars, Shriners unit, costumed characters, Blossomtime Queens from all 23 communities and more! Celebrating it's 113th year, the Blossomtime Festival is Michigan's oldest and largest multi-community Festival!

Catch the Spring Garden Market at Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve from 10:00am-4:00pm! Celebrate spring in the garden as this one-of-a-kind event featuring local vendors and experts on hand for questions and growing tips!

Round Barn Winery is ready for summer as they celebrate with their annual Sangria Party from 11:00am-7:00pm. Wait until you hear the best news, their delicious Red Sangria is now available in cans! Head out to Baroda to enjoy some live music featuring Cowboy Jukebox from 1:00pm-3:30pm and iPod Band from 4:00-6:30pm. $5 admission per person.

SUNDAY, MAY 5

Antiques on the Bluff returns to Lake Bluff Park in downtown St. Joseph this Sunday from 10:00am-5pm. Something old is new to you at this monthly treasure hunt in Lake Bluff Park. This event features over 50 vendors and runs the first Sunday of the month May through October! 

Help keep our parks beautiful during the Whirlpool Centennial Park Spring Cleanup! The City of St. Joseph Parks Advisory Board is looking for volunteers from Noon-3:00pm to help pick up trash, pull weeds and invasive plants from the area around the Whirlpool Compass Fountain. Bring gloves and gardening/digging tools—trash bags will be provided. 

Brush up your kitchen skills with a Culinary Class at Perennial Accents from 2:00pm-4:00pm! Sunday's class features Favorite Sandwiches From Around the Globe with Chef Jessica Dunek. Space is limited so make sure to reserve your spot!
