THURSDAY, JULY 18TH
We're kicking the weekend off on the water during Whirlpool's 4th Annual Rock the Boat Cardboard Boat Race, benefiting the United Way of Southwest Michigan! This year's there's a record breaking 75 boats registered built by local businesses, and yes they're really cardboard. The race begins at 5:00pm at The Inn at Harbor Shores!

Krasl Art Center invites you to enjoy a Sunset Coast Performance on their new grounds featuring a sneak peek of the R-E-S-P-E-C-T 2 show, presented by SMSO, from 5:30-6:30pm. This show debuts at the Acorn Theater on July 19 and at Shadowland Pavilion during Summerfest on July 20.
FRIDAY, JULY 19TH
Groove to classic tunes and see the classic cars from days gone by at the Mike Yore Memorial Car Show from 4:00-9:00pm along Lake Boulevard! This show is free and open to the public.

Explore the St. Joseph Lighthouse during their open hours and Lighthouse tours provided by The Heritage Museum & Cultural Center! Public Tours are available Friday and Saturday at 10:00am. No reservations required - $10/adult and $5/child (includes tower climb). Open hours are available, weather permitting, Wednesdays 7:00pm-sunset, Friday and Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm and Sundays Noon-4:00pm. The first floor exhibit is free and it's just $5 for the tower climb!
SATURDAY, JULY 20TH
Catch the St. Joe Farmers Market every Saturday through October 12 from 9:00am-2:00pm in Lake Bluff Park. Saturday morning at the Market now includes jams, honey, hearth-baked breads and fine pastries, perennials, cut flowers, organic vegetables and so much more!
A signature event every year, Summerfest, is hosted lakefront in St. Joseph. Featuring music from the Andrew Fisher Quartet and R-E-S-P-E-C-T 2 featuring an all female ensemble of community artists backed by The Big Playback. Enjoy tasty drinks and delicious food with the beautiful backdrop.

Explore downtown on foot - it's the Race for the YMCA presented by Chemical Bank! This race winds through the Arboretum, and raises funds that provide the opportunity to attend Y programs at little or no cost through financial assistance. It's a worthy cause, and a great race!
Local artisans from Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan will showcase their wares at the Round Barn Winery Artisan Market from 11:00am-6:00pm. For just $5 admission, enjoy an afternoon of shopping, sipping and live music!
Finish out your Saturday with a movie in Whirlpool Centennial Park, part of the Outdoor Summer Movie Series! The City of St. Joseph hosts "How to Train Your Dragon 3" - bring a blanket or chairs (take out from Silver Beach Pizza next door is always a plus!) and enjoy the free flick under the stars. SUNDAY, JULY 21ST
Enjoy free Horse-Drawn Trolley rides from 1:00-3:00pm! The clip-clop of hooves hitting the brick road mingles with the jangling of harnesses as the Gelding teams pulls the trolley along the streets of historic downtown St. Joseph, Michigan. Pick-up and drop off is at the SE corner of Elm and State! Free horse-drawn trolley sponsored by the Frederick S. Upton Foundation.
The City of St. Joseph hosts their weekly Municipal Band Concerts at 3:30 and 7:30pm at the John E.N. Howard Bandshell! Free and open to the public.

Join The Turquoise Top Hap and JLN Studio for a Mom (or Dad) & Me Painting Class from 1:00-3:00pm! In this class you'll make a beaching summer scene set. Cost per duo: $65 (includes all materials and a pizza lunch).
