ARS Gallery, ARTS & CULTURE CENTER is excited to announce Summer Arts Camp: France Edition

Join us as we explore the creative & cultural history of France.

ARS SUMMER CAMP (now in its 12th year), is not about learning a technique or being shown how to assemble parts from a pre-packaged kit. Students will use a wide variety of resources and real art supplies, and with the guidance of our talented teaching artists, students will develop critical thinking and visual problem-solving skills. That's because ARS camp starts with raw materials, gets messy, and offers kids the unlimited freedom to create art that is uniquely individual and personal - all while having fun!

YOUTH CAMP I: France

MON June 20 - FRI June 24 | 12-4 pm

Ages 7-12

$165 per student

In this camp, students will focus on developing skills and conceptual learning through a broad range of resources, materials, and through the guidance of our teaching artists.

Students will focus on France and its cultural arts while exploring traditional, modern, and contemporary arts. Students will learn about various art forms including textiles, sculpture, folklore, masks, symbolism, and mixed-media.

Camp will hold a reception for students displaying their artwork on the last day of camp at 2 pm. Family and friends are invited to attend. Small bites will be served.
