Thu. September 16, 2021 | - Thu. October 28, 2021 | 12:00pm - 8:00pm

The Box Factory for the Arts is once again presenting Four Gallery Exhibits on all Three Floors of our historic building.
Join us for a Free Gallery Exhibits featuring two local artists, David Baker & Matt Payovich, a return of our all ages Photography Show "ReShoot" and a tribute the Saint Joseph River.
Local artist Matt Payovich’s exhibit, “The Hidden Common Place,” will be in the Robert Williams Gallery. His work in oils and watercolors includes still life, portraiture, and a series of paintings of Winston the Wunderdog, his favorite muse.
The Heartha Whitlow Gallery will showcase the work of Box Factory studio artist David Baker. His exhibit titled “FOUND” includes watercolors and charcoal drawings of “Art at Rocky Gap,” a favorite beach haunt.
ReShoot will feature photography from photographers of all ages. Susan Johnston of Stevensville will judge the show. Susan began her photographic career 40 years ago; and worked to develop her style by attending the Santa Fe Workshops and the Brooks Institute. She has exhibited her work at the Buchanan Art Center, Fernwood, the Box Factory for the Arts, Lakeland Hospital, and the Gilmore Car Museum. In 2018 she was awarded Best Photograph at the Midwest Museum of American Art.
The St. Joseph River is the subject of “At the River’s End,” an all-medium exhibit, in the newest Box Factory’s Sky View Gallery on the third floor. The exhibit showcases the river through the eyes of the artists of the Berrien Artist Guild. It also will be featured in an upcoming WNIT documentary “Then, Now and Always—The St. Joseph River Story” which traces the St. Joseph River from its beginnings at Hillsdale, MI until it empties into Lake Michigan at St. Joseph.
