Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley

Event by Twin City Players

Fri. December 02, 2022 | - Sun. December 18, 2022 | Start and end times vary depending on day.

Twin City Players announces the holiday production of its 2022-2023 90th Mainstage Season of Comedy, Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon. Spend the holiday season with your favorite Pride and Prejudice characters as they gather at Pemberley, the stately home of Mr. and Mrs. Darcy. This clever sequel to Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice is set two years after the novel ends. The beloved Bennet sisters and their spouses are gathered for Christmas when bookish middle sister Mary unexpectedly encounters shy Arthur de Bourgh. In him, she finds a kindred spirit and intellectual equal. But, since Arthur is a “single man in possession of a good fortune,” she’s hardly his only suitor. Mary must learn to be the heroine of her own story in this charming holiday romance. Told with exceptional modern wit and dazzling period style, this romantic comedy will delight Austen aficionados and newcomers alike. Complimentary wine from Domaine Berrien Cellars on Opening Night! Tickets are $10-$15 (plus a $1 fee per ticket). Purchase online at or through the TCP box office at 269-429-0400. Performance dates are December 2 - 18, 2022, Friday & Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2 pm, at the TCP Playhouse, 600 W. Glenlord Road, St. Joseph. Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing, LLC, servicing the Dramatists Play Service collection. The show is directed by Sarah Simmons. 2022-2023 Mainstage Season Sponsors are Indiana Michigan Power/Cook Plant, Bradford Insurance Agency, The Herald Palladium, Timothy’s Restaurant, Meijer, and TPC Technologies, Inc.
