Researching Your Old House

Event by St. Joseph/Maud Preston Palenske Memorial Library

Wed. September 28, 2022 | 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Presented by Robert Myers of the Historical Society of Michigan

Every house or building has a story to tell.

In this two-hour workshop, you will learn how to uncover the history of houses, including who built them and when, their architectural styles, and the stories of the families who called them home.

Robert Myers is HSM’s director of history programming. He oversees the HSM’s Michigan Heritage Home® program, which certifies houses that are at least a century old.

Attendees can register in advance by emailing or calling the Historical Society of Michigan at (517) 324-1828. Walk-ins are welcome!

This workshop is sponsored by a grant from the Frederick S. Upton Foundation.
