Dr. Marc Élysée is a French-born professional musician whose distinguished career encompasses violin performance, music education, and orchestral conducting. Currently serving as Associate Professor of Music and Conductor of the Andrews University Symphony Orchestra, Dr. Élysée combines extensive musical training with a deep commitment to developing students as accomplished musicians, thoughtful collaborators, and dependable leaders.

 Joining Dr. Élysée and the Andrews University Symphony Orchestra is acclaimed violinist Cristian Neacsu, who will perform Camille Saint-Saëns’ Violin Concerto No. 3. The program will also feature Antonin Dvořák’s Symphony No.9, Op. 95 “From the New World”. Cristian Neacsu performs on a remarkable 1792 Venetian violin crafted by Pietro Valentino Novello.
