The Rotary Track Meet helps fund the Rotary Club’s annual Rotary Track Scholarship program. The event has been held since 1958, with the exception of 2020 because of the pandemic, and until recently used to alternate between Filstrup Field in Benton Harbor or at Dickinson Stadium in St. Joe. Celebrating 66 years this year the event, coordinated by Rotarians, attracts athletes from as many as 15-20 high schools of all sizes and hundreds of students from Southwest Michigan and has become the largest track meet in the state. During the closing ceremony of each event, competitors are awarded medals and 3 Scholarship Recipients are recognized.
