Experience the cosmos as the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra weaves the iconic Fifth Symphony by Beethoven, launched into space by NASA, with the celestial inspiration of Williams' Seranade to Music. These two timeless works harmonize with a world premiere performance of A Dream of Artemis, composed by Fabien Waksman. Inspired by NASA's Artemis initiative, the next frontier of space exploration, the piece was specifically written for our guest artists, the French saxophone quartet Quatuor Ellipsos. Held at the Lake Michigan College's Mendel Center Jenkins Theatre (formerly mainstage), tickets are on sale online and at the Symphony Box Office.
Admission: Adult Single Tickets $40 Zone A | $24 Zone B | Youth ages 6-17 $20 Zone A | $12 Zone B. Visit the SMSO website or call our Box Office for more details.
