Join the Monday Musical Junior Club for its last meeting of the school year. Our students will begin the meeting with the selections they have been practicing. Our featured guest will be Kris Zook.
Kristopher Zook maintains an active schedule as conductor, baritone soloist, composer, director and music teacher. Mr. Zook holds a master’s degree from Westminster Choir College, Princeton, NJ and two Bachelor degrees from Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA. He has appeared as a professional soloist, chorister and backup singer in a variety of operatic, oratorio, choral, and musical theatre performances, with such notable orchestras as the Pittsburgh Symphony, NJ Symphony, Philadelphia Symphony, Vienna Philharmonic and the NY Philharmonic. He has worked in varying capacities with such notable celebrities as: Rosemary Clooney, Maya Angelou, Ben E. King, Joe Piscopo, Deana Martin, Max Weinberg, Foreigner, Bryn Terfel, Thomas Hampson, Jerry Hadley and more. He was twice named best actor in PA’s longest running Shakespeare Festival, a Count Basie Award recipient, and has appeared on NPR and PBS Live from Lincoln Center multiple times. He worked previously at Red Bank Regional High School and Monmouth University as well as a myriad of church congregations. He recently transitioned from the Director of Music and Chair of the Visual & Performing Arts to the Dean of Arts & Sciences at Lake Michigan College, Benton Harbor, MI.
