Nardo's Pizza celebrates 4 years with Sankofa!

Sankofa is an eclectic musical collective from Benton Harbor, Michigan, blending soul, funk, jazz, blues, and conscious hip-hop into a powerful, genre-crossing sound. For going on 11 years, they've captivated audiences with high-energy performances and uplifting messages. Led by vocalist and manager Beth Haire-Lewis, the band features percussionist/vocalist Audrey “Chef Audy” Peeples, keyboardist Steve Parker, rapper Falconetti Petty, blues guitarist Skip Birdsong, and vocalist/flutist Cindy Goodson. Sankofa—an Adinkra symbol from the Akan language of Ghana, meaning “go back and get it”—honors the past while creating music that heals, inspires, and moves the soul.
